Spectacled Langur

The Spectacled Langur, scientifically known as Trachypithecus obscurus, is a distinctive primate native to Southeast Asia, including the dense forests of Thailand. Characterized by its striking white rings around the eyes, which resemble spectacles against its dark fur, this langur stands out in the verdant canopy. In Thailand, these arboreal creatures are often sighted in national parks and forested areas, playing an essential role in the ecosystem as they help in seed dispersal and provide a prey base for native predators.
