Indochinese Roller

Thailand is graced with the presence of the exquisite Indochinese roller, a species of small, vibrant bird. These birds can be spotted in the country's extensive forests and woodlands, distinguished by their striking turquoise plumage and blue facial features. They are renowned for their resonant and melodious calls, which frequently reverberate through the forest canopy. In their natural habitat, they primarily feed on insects and fruit, though in captivity, they have shown a penchant for rice and grains as well. The Indochinese roller holds a special place in the hearts of many locals and visitors in Thailand, serving as a cherished national symbol.
