Banded Kukri

The Banded kukri snake, a nonvenomous snake species, inhabits Thailand. These snakes typically exhibit a pale brown upper body adorned with distinct black crossbands, sometimes bordered by white. They reside in various environments, including forests, parks, and agricultural areas, and sustain themselves by preying on lizards, frogs, and small rodents. Although they pose no serious threat to humans, their sharp teeth can deliver a painful bite if provoked.
