This formidable hornet species holds the distinction of being the largest in the world, with individuals growing up to 2 inches in length and boasting an impressive wingspan of up to 3 inches. Possessing an aggressive predatory nature, it is fully capable of dispatching other insects and even small animals. Given its substantial size and potent sting, the Asian Giant Hornet poses a potential threat to humans. In Thailand, these hornets are typically situated in forested areas, but occasional sightings in agricultural regions are not unheard of. Vigilance is crucial when encountering the Asian Giant Hornet, particularly in densely populated locales, due to its capacity to inflict harm.
