Flying Gecko
The Flying or Burmese gecko is a species of gecko native to Thailand. This species of gecko is found in a variety of habitats, including rainforests, scrublands and dry deciduous forests. These geckos are quite shy and nocturnal, so they are best observed at night. The Flying or Burmese gecko is a medium-sized gecko, reaching 4-6 inches in length. They are usually olive-green or grey in color with a white underbelly and a white stripe running down the length of the body. They have bright yellow eyes, which help them to see in the dark. This gecko is an insectivore, eating a variety of insects and spiders. In captivity, they can also be fed crickets, mealworms, waxworms and other insects. These geckos are quite hardy and can make great pets for people of all experience levels. They do well in captivity with the proper care and environment. They require temperatures between 75-80°F and high humidity (60-80%).
