For tuk-tuks, always agree on a price before getting in to avoid any surprises. They can be fun for short trips but tend to be more expensive than other options. Songthaews (shared trucks) are great for getting around cities like Chiang Mai – just hop on and pay when you get off. They’re cheaper and more communal.
