Exploring the Wonders of The Million Years Stone Park and Pattaya Crocodile Farm

Review:

The Million Years Stone Park and Pattaya Crocodile Farm is a testament to one man’s passion for nature and conservation. Founded by Khun Suan Phanomwattanakul, this sprawling park in Pattaya is a unique blend of natural history, wildlife conservation, and thrilling activities, all dedicated to preserving the wonders of the natural world. My visit to this remarkable park offered an enlightening glimpse into the beauty and rarity of nature’s creations, from ancient petrified trees to the majesty of living white tigers and the intrigue of various crocodile species.

Spanning over three decades, Khun Suan’s dedication to collecting natural treasures has resulted in a sanctuary that houses items of immeasurable value and rarity. The park's collection includes Thai dwarf wood from the early Rattanakosin era, petrified trees millions of years old, and dragon stones weighing nearly 100 tons. Each piece tells a story of Earth’s history and the delicate balance of life that has persisted through millennia.

The Rare Animal Zone is another highlight, offering visitors a chance to see white tigers, various giraffes, and different kinds of crocodiles up close. These encounters not only serve as a fascinating experience but also educate visitors on the importance of wildlife conservation and the threats many of these species face in the wild.

Activities such as the crocodile catching show, elephant rides, and photo opportunities with tigers add an element of excitement to the visit, although it's crucial to approach these experiences with mindfulness towards the animals' welfare.

Tips for Future Visitors:

  1. Plan Your Visit: Allocate enough time to fully explore the park's vast offerings, from the stone collections to the animal zones and shows.

  2. Wear Comfortable Shoes: Given the size of the park, comfortable footwear is a must for navigating the various attractions comfortably.

  3. Bring a Camera: The park is filled with photo-worthy scenes, from the unique stone formations to the rare animals. Remember to respect the animals' space and well-being when taking photos.

  4. Stay Hydrated: The Thai heat can be relentless, especially during a day of outdoor exploration. Carry water with you to stay hydrated throughout your visit.

  5. Educate Yourself: Take the opportunity to learn more about the conservation efforts for the animals within the park. Understanding their stories can enrich your visit and foster a deeper appreciation for nature and conservation.

In conclusion, The Million Years Stone Park and Pattaya Crocodile Farm offers a rare window into the natural world's past, present, and future. It stands as a captivating destination for those eager to explore the wonders of nature, witness the beauty of rare animals, and engage in unique activities. This park not only entertains but also educates and inspires a greater appreciation for our planet's precious biodiversity and the importance of preserving it for generations to come.
