Heads up, some rentals offer to pre-purchase the first tank of fuel, which can be a rip-off because they charge above market rates. Always go for full-to-full unless you’re really pressed for time.
Most places do the full-to-full policy. Picked up a car with a full tank and just had to refill it before dropping it off. Super straightforward and no extra fees if you handle it right.
